CH Alumni U.S & Canada Meet – 5th July 2025

The inaugural meet of the Cambrian Hall Alumni Association (Canada & U.S. Chapter) was held on 5th July in Los Gatos, San Francisco, U.S.

We are delighted to share the overwhelming success of this event:

1. Incredible Support: The meet received an enthusiastic response, attended by Cambrianites who travelled from four countries—India, the U.K., Canada, and the U.S.—with a total of 34 participants. Alumni represented batches spanning four decades, from 1968 to 1999.
2. A Fulfilling Day: The formal event was held over lunch at Amber Restaurant, followed by an after-party at the home of Ranjeeta Chahal (Class of 1996) and Ashish Garg (Class of 1997) in the evening. Some Cambrianites also visited the local Gurudwara in San Jose the following day, where they received blessings and prasad.
3. 100% Conversion to Life Membership: We welcomed nine new CH Alumni Life Members, ensuring that every Cambrianite who attended became a life member by the end of the luncheon. We also held a life member badge ceremony for existing life members.
4. Strong Fundraising Outcome: The event generated tremendous enthusiasm, with raffle prizes including an Apple Watch, a Michael Kors bag, two paintings by a world-renowned artist, Apple EarPods, and an Amazon voucher worth $150. All proceeds contributed to raising funds for CHAA.
5. Financial Success: The event concluded with a surplus of Rs. 2.20 lakhs for the CH community.
A special thank you to our fellow Cambrianites based in the U.S.—Ranjeeta Chahal (Class of 1996) and Ashish Garg (Class of 1997)—for their incredible efforts in making this initiative a massive success.
